After watching the careers of many drivers unfold before him, Griffith decided it was time to take the first step. With the support of team owner Josh Reaume, he made the long drive from his home in Concord, North Carolina to Manchester, New Hampshire, to purchase a Legend Car. Thus making the official start of his journey behind the wheel.
TAKING IT ALL IN
In his first start, Griffith secured a top 10 finish in a competitive 25-car field—an impressive debut that fueled his confidence to pursue racing as a career. As finishes improved, so did his presence on the track. Sporting a look that was designed and installed by NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Keith McGee, Griffith paid tribute to his roots by choosing No. 8, his intern number when he started at RBR.


new track? no problem
Griffith continued his rise in Legend Cars, traveling solo across the East Coast with his car in tow, treating every lap as a learning experience. Eager to expand his skills, he took the same Legend Car to the dirt track, sharpening his car control and gaining valuable experience.
Taking it Home
After a successful 10 months in Legend Cars, Griffith entered one of the most competitive events in the country: the Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This 10-round series over 8 weeks tests man and machine like no other. With no backup car and everything on the line, Griffith pushed forward, improving and turning heads with each round. But in round 9, something happened that he never saw coming...
